Lenovo owned MetroPCS is offering the Microsoft Lumia 640 for just $39 and the LG G Stylo for $199, according to reports.

The mail-in rebate offer brings the price of Microsoft Lumia 640 down to $39 from $129 and the LG G Stylo is priced at $199 from $249, according to a report on Tech Times. The Microsoft Lumia 640 currently ships with Windows Phone 8.1 and Lumia Denim but once the Windows 10 operating system rolls out, Lumia 640 will be among the first smartphones to get the latest Windows OS, reports Tech Times.

According to a report on Softpedia, Lumia 640 sports a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit, 8GB of internal memory and 1 GB of RAM, 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating. The other features include 8 MP rear camera, 1 MP front camera, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC (Near Field Communication) and 2,500 mAh battery, reports Softpedia.

Microsoft Lumia 640 does not sport high end specifications but it should deliver a more than decent performance at a pocket friendly price, reports Tech Times. The publication also mentioned that the new deal from MetroPCS is likely to make Lumia 640 a popular choice among Windows Phone enthusiasts.

The stylus enabled LG G Stylo features a large 5.7-inch IPS display with an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, 2GB of RAM and a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor running at 1.2GHz, 16GB of internal storage space, a microSD card slot for additional memory, 13 MP rear camera that comes with Laser Auto Focus and LED flash, 5 MP front facing camera and a 2,900 mAh battery, as per the Tech Times report, which also mentioned that LG’s phablet is 4G LTE-enabled and besides that the other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, and A-GPS.

Though the LG G Stylo has got many other competitors in the phablet segment but its availability on MetroPCS at a price tag of $199 is likely to make the phablet look more attractive, reports Tech Times.
