It appears that “Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate” is going to be one of the most content-filled games of the franchise. After various DLC packs that included “Sonic the Hedgehog” DLC and “Super Mario” DLC, developer Capcom has decided to add some of its own characters to the mix this month. Alongside “Metroid” DLC, the company has announced new “Mega Man” DLC and “Street Fighter” DLC for “Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.”

The new “Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate” was announced on the Capcom Unity Blog, where they also released various details about the new content. Fans will be happy to know that they can outfit their custom characters with a bunch of new outfits inspired from the “Metroid” games, such as the Varia and Zero suits. Polygon notes that the canon of the “Metroid” suits can be used, though its unclear if it’s stronger than the weapons found in the game.

Like most of the DLC packs for “Monster Huner 4 Ultimate,” it’s not just the Hunter that gets new outfits, but the player’s Palico does as well. The adorable Palico of the player can be dressed with outfits inspired by Blanka and Chun-Li from the “Street Fighter” games from Capcom, as well as a “Mega Man” suit from the Capcom game series of the same name.

What makes the “Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate” DLC even better is that it’s free. Fans simply need a copy of the game and a 3DS with an Internet connection to the eShop to get the new costumes for their playable characters.

Previous DLC packs for “Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate” have also been free, though pure members do get a little more content than other players. The Pure members will be getting 14 new quests, along with various amounts of new weapons, items and armour.

“Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate” is available now for the Nintendo 3DS. The title has been praised for its challenging gameplay, as well as its multiplayer functionality. The title has also had previous DLC packs that were also free, including a “Legend of Zelda” pack that was released back in March and a “Sonic and Mario” pack that was released last month.
