The red carpet at The Metropolitan Museum of Art last night celebrated MET Gala's 2013 Theme of "PUNK: Chaos to Couture." Celebrities poured into the event donning their most fashionable punk attires. Some had even gone to extremes of bleaching their hairs for the prestigious event. With the event over and done, what took place at the MET Ball after party? Here are all the details.

This year's MET Gala with the punk theme is definitely a change from the norm. Celebrities in attendance made sure to stay true to the theme of course adding a few personal touches or two. While some fans claim the outfits were by far the most hilarious, co-Chairman Lauren Santo Domingo states this was an experiment gone perfectly well.

"I feel like punk was the perfect theme-it lent itself to a little more experimentation," explained Costume Institute Gala co-chair, Lauren Santo Domingo, adding, "It's all about not caring what anyone thinks. That's the manifesto, and it takes the stress away."

After the debut of the punk looks, blonde locks and spiked attires, celebrities at the MET Gala made sure to dress a bit down for the after party which was held at the Boom Boom Room of the Standard Hotel. Performances by punk queen, Debbi Harry were the most awaited event of the night.

""I think the essence of who she is truly represents what punk is: originality against the norm and a philosophy based on conviction," explained Harry.

Anne Hathaway who had the most surprising outfit and hairstyle of the evening also dressed down for the party with a Valentino above the knee dress. Other celebrities in attendance include Madonna and her beau, Brahim, Rooney Mara, Tiger Woods and his new beau, Lindsey Vonn.
