Three-time Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep has bagged her first ever nomination for The Kid's Choice Awards for her role as a witch in the film “Into the Woods.” Streep will compete with Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz, Donald Sutherland, Jamie Foxx and Lee Pace in the Favorite Villain category. “Into the Woods” tells the story of once-beautiful witch (played by Meryl Streep) who curses a baker (played by James Corden) and his wife (played by Emily Blunt) to remain childless.

The Baker's family must do the task for the witch to reverse the spell she cast. Streep won an Academy Award nomination in Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for the same film. The veteran actress was also nominated in the same category for the Golden Globe Awards.

Other first time nominees for the Kid's Choice Awards include Angelina Jolie for her role in “Maleficent,” Iggy Azalea in Favourite New Artist category, Sam Smith for Favourite New Singer, Chris Pratt for Favourite Male Action Star in “Guardians of the Galaxy” and Channing Tatum too for Favourite Male Action Star category in “Jupiter Ascending.”

The Kids’ Choice Awards will choose individuals from total of 21 categories for the best television, film, music, games and books of the year. Favorite Movie category consists of "Guardians of the Galaxy", "Maleficent", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1" and "Transformers: Age of Extinction" in addition to the Spiderman film. “X-Men: Days of Future Past” and “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” lead the film nomination category earning five nominations each.

In Music category, singer Beyonce is nominated in the Favorite Female Singer category. She will compete with Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea and Meghan Trainor. Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake, Sam Smith, Pharrell Williams, Nick Jonas, Blake Shelton and Bruno Mars are all nominated for Favorite Male Singer category.

Kids can cast their votes in all 21 categories on Nickelodeon's website. Nick Jonas will host the ceremony that is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 28 at 8 P.M. ET. Check out the nomination list of major categories below and for complete list, click here.
