Melanie Griffith has chosen not to watch her daughter Dakota Johnson's upcoming movie 'Fifty Shades Of Grey'. Although the 57-year-old American actress is quite excited for her daughter, she also declared that she is never going to watch the movie.

In an interview given to Extra, the actress confirmed that she knew very well what is in the book. Although she admittedly loved the book, she decided not to watch her daughter in the movie. Griffith also claimed that even her ex-husband is not going to watch the film.

"It would just be too awkward," told the gushing actress and proud mother. "She, I think, would be mortified if we ever came to see her movie."

As per earlier reports, Johnson has already banned her parents to come and watch her much awaited movie. Griffith had her own share of super sexy roles with her racy nude scenes in 'Smile', 'The Drowning Pool' and 'Night Moves'. Her portrayal as a porn actress in the thriller 'Body Double' earned her first big award of Best Supporting Actress from the National Society of Film Critics in 1984.

Meanwhile, 'Fifty Shades of Grey', scheduled to come out in February 2015, is already creating buzz much before its release. Adapted from a book by the same name, the movie will be showcasing some sexually explicit scenes since they are demanded by the script.

US Weekly is claiming that Johnson and lead actor Jamie Dornan was recently called back to the set to reshoot some of the scenes due to lack of chemistry between the two. As per the report, the producers did not find the footage passionate enough. A source has also told to US Weekly that Johnson isn't coming sexy enough on screen.

These reports of US Weekly have been banished by an official rep for Universal Pictures who denied that there's any chemistry problem between their actors. "No one should question the heat or intensity of our actors," the rep says.
