Meghan Trainor has confirmed that she has written a love duet with One Direction singer Harry Styles. The 21-year-old songstress was impressed with Harry's song-writing skills and also praised him for it. The singer announced the title of track is “Someday Maybe” on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show on Wednesday.

“I wrote a song with Harry. It was unbelievable. He’s a very, very talented songwriter, I was very impressed,” Trainor is quoted as saying to radio host Nick Grimshaw [via The Independent]. She also added that she was not sure when the fans will get to hear the song though. In her previous interview with The Sun, Trainor said that writing the song with Harry was “one of the coolest things” she has ever done. One of her friends told her that Harry is Trainor's fan and wanted to write a song with her.

The “All About The Bass” singer said that she thought of Harry as a “20-year-old” boy who would not have any knowledge about song-writing. She even went to him with a “prepared verse and chorus,” the singer told The Sun. But Harry proved her wrong with his music sense. "But he gave me very poetic, mature lyrics. I was like, ‘Well, damn, Harry, you know what love is,"' Trainor is quoted as saying by the British newspaper.

Trainor is nominated for Record Of The Year for the Grammy Awards, which are scheduled to be held in February. Since has a busy 2015. She will kick off her first ever tour of U.K. in April, performing in Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and London.

Singer Harry Styles has previously written a song entitled "A Little Bit of My Heart" for singer Ariana Grande. It was revealed by Metro in April, 2014 that Harry is also working with Ryan Tedder of One Republic on “new material.” Tedder has co-written songs with Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson on One Direction's third album “Midnight Memories.”

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) has a lot of songs that are written by Harry Styles with no performer attached. Some of their titles are, "Kiss You in The Rain," "I Fell in Love with a Beautiful Girl," “Love You Like You're Leaving," and "Might Not Want You."
