It’s the season of break ups, and joining the growing list of celebrity couples who have separated in recent months are Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green.

Fox, 29, and Green, 42, have pulled the plug on their five-year marriage, according to US Weekly. Citing a source, the report said that it is Fox who has separated from Green, and they decided to end the relationship six months ago. The reason behind the split was not revealed.

“They will always love each other very much and are devoted to their kids," a source told People. "Anything could happen in the future, but for now they've decided it's best to take some time apart."

The two have been together for almost 11 years. They first met on ABC’s sitcom “Hope & Faith” in 2004 and got engaged in 2006. And three years later, they called off their engagement. Green again proposed to Fox in 2010, and they tied the knot 24 days later in a private ceremony in Hawaii.

They are parents to two sons--Noah Shannon, 2, and Bodhi Ransom, 18 months. Green also has a son from his previous relationship with “Beverly Hills, 90210” co-star Vanessa Marcil.

It is last year in an interview that Fox had called Green her soulmate. “He’s definitely meant to be the father of my children,” The “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” actress told Men’sHealth. That makes it easier for me to work through things, because I always see the spiritual side of things. I look at the end game.”

The last public appearance of theirs was in June when they were spotted having lunch together in Beverly Hills.
