Rapper Earl Hayes, a friend of Floyd Mayweather, Jr., was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment. The lifeless body of his wife Stephanie Moseley, a U.S. TV actress, was also found in their bedroom.

Update: Mayweather confirmed that he had seen Hayes murdering Moseley on Apple's FaceTime. Hayes apparently video-called his boxer friend just before killing his wife. While Mayweather advised Hayes against doing it, the rapper went on to murder Moseley anyway. Mayweather confirmed that he had "heard everything." TMZ reported that the champion boxer, who refused to give details of how much he witnessed, said that he was still in shock to witness the murder-suicide.

Mayweather's associate Hayes appeared to have committed suicide, while Moseley seemed to have been murdered. The actress starred in the VH1 drama "Hit the Floor," which was about a group of NBA cheerleaders. She used to be a break-up dancer for celebrity singers like Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson, Rihanna and Chris Brown. Moseley also acted in movies like "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" and 2012 Julia Roberts movie "Mirror Mirror."

Police said that both of them had suffered gunshot wounds. Police were called after around 10 gunshots were heard by a resident of a neighbouring apartment. A woman was also heard screaming at around 7:30 a.m. on Monday. When officers forced themselves into the apartment in Los Angeles, California, they found the bedroom door closed. A couple of gunshots was heard further and then the officers found the couple's bodies, Brisbane Times reported. Mayweather's Money Team member reportedly killed his wife and then committed suicide.

According to TMZ, Hayes, once signed to Mayweather's record label, used to party with the U.S. professional boxer frequently. He shared a photo on Facebook earlier in October that showed him enjoying an LA Lakers game with Mayweather. The apparent reason behind the murder-suicide is believed to be Hayes' suspicion that Moseley was having an affair with singer Trey Songz. An unnamed law enforcement officer said that Hayes was believed to have shot Moseley before shooting himself. KTLA talked with Burrel Wilks who called himself Hayes' close friend and life coach. He said Hayes had told him that the long-time couple had been in the process of breaking up.

Some of the users appeared to be outraged at Hayes allegedly killing Moseley. They expressed their emotions on social networks like Instagram. Some of the users commented on the last photo Hayes had shared on Instagram. "miss.peaches.nicole" wrote that she hoped Hayes would "burn in hell" while "twinboy317" requested people not to "post any negativity and nonsense on the page" as the man "lost his life." Another user "_ovo_1030" wrote that nobody had the right to take someone's life. Even if Moseley cheated on Hayes, the user wrote that it was a cowardly move on his part to kill her.
