Filming for White Collar Season 5 is currently underway with bits and pieces of details being shared to the increase the hype of the waiting viewers. Creator Jeff Eastin hinted about a new possible mystery to con man character Neal Caffrey, which actor Matt Bomer portrays, involving the appearance of his mum on the TV series.

In the show's past season, viewers were able to catch a preview of Neal's relationship with his father. White Collar Season 5 will reportedly bring a different journey to Matt Bomer's character compared to Season 4.

"Having spent time with dear old Dad last season, Neal is done looking backward for now and will be focused on moving forward in his life for Season 5. But the story of Neal's mother is definitely a tale we hope to tell down the road," Mr Eastin shared.

Aside from the personal family issues, there will be other story angles to be told in the upcoming season including co-star Tim DeKay's fate on the show as FBI Agent Peter Burke. In the finale of Season 4, Peter was arrested with the evidence strongly pinned against him and for the new season, he has to provide evidence that shows he is not responsible for the crime.

It is expected more exciting twist and turns to the storyline will be revealed, particularly with Neal's relationship with his father, taking into consideration the part that Neal's dad played with the FBI Agent's situation.

A couple of new cases will be bringing the TV series back to its initial roots. Additionally, new and recurring characters are lined up for the show including "Beauty and the Beast" actress Bridget Regan who portrays a possible love interest that would make Neal Caffrey's heart skipping a beat.

"White Collar" Season 5 is scheduled to return on the USA Network this fall. Have a look at the latest photos shared on Twitter that shows Matt Bomer filming on the White Collar Season 5 set in New York City.
