MasterChef Australia” 2016 may be over, but the season 8 contestants’ closeness seemed to have gone beyond the competition.

Now that their stint on the cooking contest is over, second runner-up Harry Foster and top five Mimi Baines seem to have turned their attention on another hit Channel Ten program, “The Bachelor Australia.” This week, the two had exchanged Twitter messages about the reality show’s fourth season, which premiered on July 27. It stars 30-year-old blonde hunk Richie Strahan, who became popular when he appeared as a contestant in “The Bachelorette.”

At one point, one fan persuaded them to go out and date. Mimi seemed to agree, when she posted a GIF of the Little Mermaid nodding her head. Their other followers also wondered whether they’re in a relationship, but the two kept mum. The next day, the two stirred the Twitter verse again when Harry posted, “Thinking of you” with a kissing emoji. Mimi wrote, “Wish you were in Melbourne,” also with a kissing emoji.

Earlier in June, fans speculated that Harry may be dating Luke Wolfe, stepson of “The Real Housewife of Melbourne ” star Gamble Breaux. The rumours sparked after Luke posted photos of them while on a vacation in Tasmania wearing “matching outfits,” as the fans pointed out.

I'd like to thank the waiter who took this photo while we tried to flirt with him. Thank You Julian

Gamble herself shared a photo of Harry and Luke on her personal Instagram account, where she wrote, “@masterchefau@harryshunger is welcome to BBQ at the Wolfe residents any time!” In the comments section, Luke’s followers wondered whether Harry is Luke’s new boyfriend.

“MasterChef Australia” recently named this year’s winner, 32-year-old teacher Elena Duggan. She beat 27-year-old Matt Sinclair in a three-round grand finale episode. Harry, who placed third, received a $10,000 cash prize.
