After the “Full House” reboot on Netflix was officially announced, former co-stars Mary-Kate Olsen and John Stamos reconnected on April 27. The duo talked about the “Full House's” upcoming reunion. Stamos posted about the mini get-together on his Twitter account for all the fans to know that the “Full House” remake is definitely on.

Stamos made the “Full House” reboot announcement on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” The show is set to feature actress Candace Cameron Bure for the lead role as a recently widowed mother of three boys. The “E.R.” star described the remake as a “role reversal” as they turn the house over to the actress. "As big fans of the original Full House, we are thrilled to be able to introduce Fuller House's new narrative to existing fans worldwide, who grew up on the original, as well as a new generation of global viewers that have grown up with the Tanners in syndication," said a statement released by Netflix's vice president of original content Cindy Holland.

Mark-Kate and Ashley Olden admitted in an interview that they had no clue about the show’s reboot and were shocked that the actor did not inform them. The show will be produced by Stamos. The 1987 show's stars Bure (D.J.Tanner), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) and Andrea Barber (Kimmu Gibler), with Stamos (Jesse Katsopolis) are set to act and produce at the same time. Other stars who are in negotiations include Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone) and Lori Loughlin (Rebecca Donaldson Katsopolis).

Meanwhile, Stamos is not happy about Lifetime’s unauthorised “Full House” tell-all film. The TV film is set to follow “Saved by the Bell” film that the network did back in September, with the show’s original writer and cast. The 51-year-old hunk's film credits include “Femme Fatale” (2002), “Party Monster” 2003, “Father of Invention” (2006), “My Man is a Loser” (20014) and “They Came Together” (2014). TV credits include “Two and a Half Men,” “The New Normal,” “Members Only,” “Galavant” and “Necessary Roughness.”
