Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" releases a short trailer teaser in anticipating viewers and fans for the film's full trailer on Monday. The short trailer however features Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) speaking for the first time. Marvel also recently released a new Guardian's poster.

According to entertainment reports, Marvel has been releasing short trailers for Guardians of the Galaxy to excite viewers for a full trailer on Monday. The new teaser reveals few additional details about Marvel's newest big-screen heroic team. In the teaser, Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel) was shown to have the ability to grow roots and shows his gentle side by giving a flower to a little girl, Star-Lord shows how his mask and jet boots function, and it shows how the Nova Corps needs Star-Lord's team to save planet Xandar.

The full-length trailer is hoped to show Michael Rooker's blue-skinned Yondu character, one of the original Guardians from Marvel Comics. Fans are also excited to see how the Nova Corps will be adapted to the big screens. The movie's official details hint that Nova Corps will act as a security force to planet Xandar, but in the comics they patrol the whole galaxy.

Along the release of the short teasers, Disney and Marvel also released a new Guardian's poster featuring the five main misfits-turned galactic heroes in battle pose. The poster shows Peter Quill's element weapons, Rocket Raccoon's huge space weapon being fired, and some enemy ships in the background.

The film is directed by James Gunn and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Nova Prime Rael and Benicio Del Toro as The Collector.

Guardians of the Galaxy opens Aug. 1 2014.
