Following the announcement of “Spider-Man: Homecoming," upcoming Marvel film "Black Panther" has unveiled its cast at San Diego Comic Con. The cast was revealed to be of diverse ethnic races, which was highly praised by fans. The movie is confirmed to hit cinemas in July 2018.

“As a black comic-book fan, I couldn’t help but to be excited about that,” Director Ryan Coogler expressed his enthusiasm to work for the film “It’s really overwhelming to think about, honestly, but I’m really excited about us opening up the world a little more.” According to ET Online, the film will begin shooting in January 2017.

The upcoming movie will star Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, and Danai Gurira. Chadwick Boseman will return as T’Challa a.k.a. Black Panther after his appearance in “Captain America: Civil War.”

“We get a chance to tell this point of view and perspective and the characters who inhabit that world,” Michael, the actor for "Black Panther" antagonist Eric Killmonger, said. Stars from “Captain America” and “Avengers” are rumoured to make cameo appearances in the movie. Some of them are “Iron Man” lead character Robert Downey Jr. and Sebastian Stan, who played as Bucky Barnes and The Winter Soldier.

“What they do is beautiful and epic and stunning and tells nuanced powerful stories about human beings who are fractured and flawed in extraordinary situations,” Danai added. “So to see that done through various types of individuals is how you would hope something would look but you never quite know if it will. And they make it that.” Danai will portray Okoye, the leader of the Dora Milaje.

The movie was supposed to be released on Feb. 16, 2018. However, it was moved to July 6, 2018 due to other film projects by Marvel Studios, such as "Thor: Ragnarok" and "Captain Marvel."
