Actress Ming-Na Wen is Melinda May on 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

From a car racer who had a pact with the devil to a patriotic inhuman, the show will be moving on to let viewers explore the many different plots it is able to carry. For one, we will finally know what happens when an Inhuman is positioned to steer S.H.I.E.L.D.

The show has truly revved up the excitement by introducing androids and even Ghost Rider , who worked with the team for a while. As the series moves on to another arc, it also brings what could be one of the most exciting additions to the show yet -- Director Jeffrey Mace (Jason O’Mara).

Director Mace is more than what he seems. He is an Inhuman whose abilities are yet to be explored in “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” What is known for now is that he has increased strength and is more agile than his companions. This character is loosely based on another Marvel superhero, The Patriot, who took on the role of Captain America for a short time, writes Bleeding Cool.

This would lead viewers to question what really is the story behind Mace, how he got his powers and who he was before he was all that. For those who wish to see more of this new interesting character, they need not fret anymore since O’Mara has confirmed that viewers are definitely going to see more about his character.

In an interview, O’Mara reveals that the next batch of episodes will deal with how his character got his powers. These upcoming episodes will also delve into his whole backstory and how he is going to legitimize Daisy. He concludes that there is a lot to look forward to as the show tries to work the Patriot in.

Other spoilers reveal that the upcoming episode will deal with Radcliffe’s motivation since he is the taskmaster in messing up May for the LMD. As for “Philinda” shippers, they will be struggling to embrace a new ersatz relationship, which will be interesting to explore.

Season 4 episode 9 of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” titled “LMD,” will air on Tuesday January 10, 2017 on ABC. It will also air in Australia on SyFy.
