"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is only two more segments away from its Season 2 mid-season finale and things are only getting intense. The show is set to air an explosive episode on Nov. 18. The upcoming segment is titled "The Things We Bury" and focuses on Agent Coulson and his team's showdown with HYDRA. Here are a few spoilers on "Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2 Episode 8. Read on to find out what happens next. [Warning: Spoilers Alert!]

The last-aired episode of ABC's Marvel TV show delved into the story behind the mysterious drawings that made Coulson restless and insomniac. The S.H.I.E.L.D. director researched and rummaged through everything to find answers to his questions related to the sketches that resemble some ancient symbols. Skye insisted that the glyphs are connected with the information Ward holds about her father and the GH substance running in their blood. However, Coulson later figured out that the alien drawing is nothing but a 3D diagram representing the map of a city.

This was the beginning of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s new quest. They need to find the city where this powerful, mysterious serum is made. They know that HYDRA is also trying to locate it, but they need to get there before their enemy does. Meanwhile, Coulson's team, HYDRA and Ward's brother the Senator, tried to chase Ward. However, he managed to fool HYDRA's agent Bakshi and escaped. Lance Hunter managed to take Bakshi in custody while the mystery behind the glyphs remained unresolved.

Moving on to the next episode, the network has released a synopsis on "Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2 Episode 8, "The Things We Bury," on its official Web site. According to the media report, the two enemy organisations try to beat each other in unveiling an "ancient secret." In their new mission, Coulson's crime-fighting agents get into "an epic faceoff against HYDRA" in order to get to the secret first.

Fans know that the dangerous criminal Grant Ward is on the run, and he is definitely planning his next big move. His next target is his older brother Senator Christian Ward. Grant Ward abducts his brother, which will take fans back in time and dig deeper into the brother's backstory. The press release suggests that it is going to be a "violent trip down memory lane."
