The “Mario Kart” release date for Nintendo Switch is pegged for April 28. Although it is still a bit far from being released, there are new additions to the game to make it more exciting.

The latest version of “Mario Kart,” which is also known as “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe,” will be released by the end of April. This new version for the Nintendo Switch will allow up to 12 players to play with one another to race around different tracks or battle courses. According to Nintendo, the Battle mode has been revised, and the game will also bring in new and returning battle courses.

What’s new

Beyond the new battle courses, “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” features an up to four-player multiplayer function. This will be played in 1080p when it is played through TV Mode. The game can also be played wirelessly with up to eight players. The game will also have tracks returning from the Wii U version of the game which also includes the downloadable content. New characters will also be added with the Inklings making guest appearances. In addition to this, characters such as King Boo, Dry Bones and Bowser Jr. will be returning to the game.

The game features a revamped version of the Battle mode where players can pop some balloons. There will also be a Balloon Battle as well as Bob-omb Blast modes in the game as usual. In addition to these, new courses will be included in the Battle mode including Urchin Underpass and Battle Stadium.
