One of the most anticipated superhero films "Man of Steel 2" stars Jesse Eisenberg as the lead antagonist, Lex Luthor. Jesse will be fighting against the superheroes in Zack Snyder's directorial venture. However, Jesse recently revealed that his character, as the villainous nemesis of Superman is unique and different form the past interpretations.

"It'll definitely be played by a different person, but I don't know really how different this - I don't know the history as well as the people making the movie, so I guess it's up to them to figure out how much they want to separate it from previous incarnations," Eisenberg admitted to IGN.

Eisenberg further suggested that he does not believe in playing the similar kind of character which the audience has already seen. Apparently, for him it is irresponsible to copy the character, which has been played by other actors in the past.

"So I will just do it as though it's a character, in the same way you do a movie like The Double, which is a smaller movie - but you just kind of treat it like a character, and that's probably the best course of action," the actor said in his interview.

Jesse has already shown his acting prowess in Oscar nominated role of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in "The Social Network." Fans can't wait to see him add a new flavor in Lex Luthor's act.

"The character's written really well. It's a really great role. The fact that it's in a big movie, you know, it seems like a character that would be in any kind of movie. It just happens to be in a bigger, flashier kind of thing," Jesse said about his character in "Man of Steel 2."

"Man of Steel 2" main star cast include Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.
