Social media exploded when U.S. President Barack Obama's 16-year-old daughter Malia was reported to be pregnant. However, the report turned out to be a hoax and Twitter users offered their support for the teenager.

According to the report of the alleged pregnancy, this is the biggest White House scandal since Monica Lewinsky. The news "confirmed" that Obama's daughter Malia was pregnant. The 16-year-old is allegedly in her second trimester while her mother, Michelle, apparently sees nothing wrong about it. The report also claimed that the U.S. First Lady said that teen pregnancy had been running in the family as her "mother-in-law had Barack when she was 18." Even though she is going to be a granny much earlier than she planned, she said that the White House had not seen a baby since 1884, the report further claimed.

Several Twitter users backed Malia and asked people not believe in such a hoax. Jess (‏@jessicaaajaimes) asked people to "Do some 'reliable research' before believing things posted on the Internet." Jay (@1Word_Respect) told people not to "believe everything you see on the internet." "When a girl in class reads an article on Malia Obama being pregnant and doesn't realize the website she read it from is satirical," wrote The Girl In Pink (@TheGirlinPinkk). Mayore 2.0 (‏@bwrca) posted "Someone got Malia Obama pregnant and you're still trying (to) convince me superheroes don't walk amongst us?" beff UH knee (‏@KeishNasty) wrote that Malia was sexualised as she had a "nice body." "Kinda sick," she wrote. princess maiya ‏(@OMG_ItsMaiyaaa) wrote that people on Facebook had no common sense. "They really believe Malia obama pregnant," she wondered.

Both IBTimes and IBTimes UK, in the meantime, dismissed the report by calling it a hoax. Empire News is apparently a news Web site which posts fake or satirical false stories. The latest headlines on the website include "North Korea Launches Nuclear Missile Towards The United States," "Michelle Obama Announces Presidential Run in 2016," Ferguson Protestors Blocking Streets Cause Death Of Young Child" and "Facebook Urges Users To 'Quit Bitching' About Privacy Policies."

The Empire News report gave further details about the alleged pregnancy. It said that Malia had not yet revealed about the father of her baby. However, she apparently admitted that the father was white. Calling love as "colorblind," Malia allegedly said that her baby-daddy would not want to pay his child support "like all white men." The news report also claimed that Malia had told the father of her child to step up. "You want to keep your license so you can drive that bleach-blond tramp around in your little Jaguar, right? Better step up" - Malia was quoted saying it to the alleged father.

Yall must to stupid AF to think Malia Obama is pregnant. Do some "reliable research" before believing things posted on the Internet
