"Game of Thrones" star Maisie Williams will take on a new role in the upcoming one-hour drama special of Channel 4 U.K. titled "Cyber Bully." The 17-year-old English actress has been cast as a teenage victim of cyberbullying who will fight off her mysterious cyber-stalker.

According to a Zap2it report, Maisie Williams will portray a teenager named Casey Jacobs who becomes a victim of peer-to-peer cyberbullying. Furthermore, the setting of the drama special will be in one location happening in real time as the story centers on Casey the entire time.

"The audience will be trapped with Casey for a full screen hour and we need an exceptional actress to play her," director Ben Chanan declared in a press statement. The film director further revealed in an Independent report that he could not think of anyone else portraying the role of Casey but the "Game of Thrones" star.

"Maisie Williams is not only remarkably talented, she also has an immediately likeable, feisty screen presence which makes you root for her instinctively," Chanan explained. "Cyber Bully" is a drama special based on the real-life cases of young people, particularly 69% of the teens in the United Kingdom, becoming victims of the hot issue called cyberbullying.

The upcoming drama special will be dealing as well with the victims who encountered advanced computer hacking. Meanwhile, young actress Maisie Williams, who took home the 2013 BBC Radio 1 Teen Award for Best British Actor, revealed that she is excited to work on the new project with director Ben Chanan, who worked on the docu-drama on Channel 4 titled "Blackout."

Nick Mirsky, the head of documentaries in Channel 4 stated that the cyberbullying drama special is one of the most important purposes of the television broadcasting company in finding new ways of attracting young audiences. The drama film special is able to do that "in a way that is gripping, relevant and fiercely public service" with the numerous stories playing out on the Internet and the cyber world.

"Cyber Bully" will star young actress Maisie Williams, who is best known for portraying "Game of Thrones" vengeful character Arya Stark, and the drama special is scheduled to premiere in early 2015 on Channel 4.
