Channing Tatum recently said that “Magic Mike XXL” will surely live a lasting impression to fans and viewers. The actor teased that the men in the film will give viewers something to remember them by.

Channing Tatum shared some details about “Magic Mike XXL” during an exclusive feature interview with UK’s Now Magazine. The actor talked about himself along with the rest of the main male casts, including Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer, Adam Rodriguez and Kevin Nash, having to give their all for the sequel even if it means having to wear thongs on stage.

“In the movie, the guys are going out on this one last ride, and you know it will all end with everybody being embarrassed on stage in thongs,” he said. “It always seems like a good idea until you actually have to go out on stage in a thong,” he added.

Personally, Channing Tatum can relate to how embarrassing it might have been for the guys to stand on stage with their thongs in front of a room full of women. The actor recalled that it was not among his most favourite routines back when he used to work as a stripper. “I mean, every night when I was actually stripping, that was my least favourite part – because you just go out there, rip your pants off and you’re just standing there in a thong,” he revealed.

Joe Manganiello was also asked by the publication about his experience stripping for “Magic Mike XXL.” The actor recalled it was “electrifying” having to undress in front of many women. Manganiello admitted it was his first time to “witness anything like that” and likened the experience to being in a rock concert that his ears were ringing afterwards.

According to Hitfix, the dance routines in “Magic Mike XXL” are not just the highlights of the film. They actually make up the film. The casts in the sequel reportedly communicate through dancing. They tell their life’s story through the dances they make on stage. “They're inarticulate off the stage, frustrated by where they are in their lives, but when they dance, they are the center of the universe, adored and desired and powerful,” Hitfix stated.
