The celebrities who got lucky this 2011 are as many as those who may have had a not so good year as wel. But one thing is for sure: these stars on this lucky list would remember this year that will soon come to pass with great fondness and good memories.

Natalie Portman. This young actress considered veteran already with her stellar acting performances received her first Oscar Best Actress Award for the movie 'Black Swan.' She also became a part of the movie 'Thor' and released indie movies under her own title as producer. What's more is that she gave birth to her first child with Benjamin Millepied.

Ryan Gosling. This versatile actor has certainly proved his worth in the movies this year with being an action star for 'Drive' and a ladies' man in 'Crazy, Stupid, Love' with Steve Carell. He was also able to work alongside George Clooney for the 'Ides of March.'

Adele. In the world of music, she emerged to be the most outstanding in the Billboard charts for this year. Her second CD remained on top of the charts for 36 weeks. Regardless of her recent throat surgery, no illness can stop her soulful voice from being heard all over the world.

Jay-Z. This year, he was able to launch his own lifestyle online site and collaborated with Kanye West for 'Watch the Throne.' But above it all, he is going to be a dad. Could there be anything else better than that?

Kate Middleton. Got married with a prince with which her wedding was viewed worldwide; became Duchess of Cambridge; and was highly praised for her elegant charm and striking fashion style in her activities as part of the Royal Family.

Other names which made it in this list also include Emma Stone, Selena Gomez, Jonah Hill, Jennifer Lawrence, and Melissa McCarthy. Who else do you think deserves to be in this list?
