A new character in “Lucifer” Season 2 will be a former Playboy Playmate. The character has a very small role and will only appear in one of the episodes. Charisma Carpenter has been cast to play this role.

[Spoiler alert]

Carpenter’s character will be appearing in the fifth episode of the next season, Entertainment Weekly reports. The actress is known for being a part of “Buffy the Vampire” and “Angel” TV series.

The name of Carpenter’s character on the show is Jamie Lee Adrienne. The character has been described as “smoking hot” and someone who has “a lot of party years on her.” She is married to a once-successful action star.

The tone of the character apparently shows “genuine sadness and pain.” However, she may be hiding something. It is not clear if the former Playboy Playmate will get to share some intimate moments with Morningstar (Tom Ellis).

Meanwhile, Executive Producer Joe Henderson recently teased that the fans will get some “hints” of Maze’s (Lesley-Ann Brandt) back story in “Lucifer” Season 2, TV Line reports. The story, however, takes Maze’s character forward with a major focus on her trying to figure out how to assimilate on Earth.

The introduction of Mother of Angels (Tricia Helfer) adds a new dynamic to the relationships on the show. The character will not only have an effect on her sons but also on Maze.

The show will explore the relationship the two characters had when they were back in Hell; when Maze was the chief enforcer. The producer teased that the two characters will have a lot of fun on Earth, and Maze will want to finish what she started.

“Lucifer” Season 2 is set to premiere on Sept. 19. The title of the first episode is “Everything’s Coming Up Lucifer.” The plot of the episode is yet to be released by the producers.
