The big revelation in the previous episode will have consequences in “Lucifer” Season 2 episode 7. A preview video released online shows how Linda deals with the truth. Meanwhile, Charlotte continues to work her plan with Amenadiel.

[Spoiler alert]

In a moment of emotional weakness, Morningstar (Tom Ellis) did something that perhaps he shouldn’t have done. With Linda (Rachael Harris) continuing to believe that her patient refers to himself as the Devil as a metaphor the protagonist proved once and for all what he really is.

After killing his brother, Morningstar is in a lot of pain and is in need of help. But, the reaction of Linda told him that the shock was just too much for her to focus on her work. The consequences of that one encounter will now be explored in the next episode.

A preview video shows Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) talking to a scared Linda. The psychiatrist appears to have locked herself up in her apartment after the scary experience. “Lucifer” Season 2 episode 7 will focus on how she deals with the truth and whether or not she will come to terms with it.

Maze quickly realises that Morningstar has shown his true face to Linda. The psychiatrist rhetorically asks how she can be friends with the Devil. Will the Demon from Hell convince her friend to accept the reality and remember the friendship Linda shares with her unusual patient?

Readers should note that Maze had also revealed her true face to Trixie (Scarlett Estevez) in the previous episode. Will the truth be revealed to all the characters on the show eventually?

While the main characters deal with their own problems, Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) will continue to work on Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) in “Lucifer” Season 2 episode 7. The Mother of Angels has already managed to convince her powerful son that working for God may not be the right thing to do.
