Kate Middleton is days away from giving birth to her second child, with reports claiming she's due on April 25. While the media awaits the birth of the royal baby, the guessing continues on whether the newborn will be a boy or a girl. While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are also unaware of the baby's gender, the locals over at Kate 's hometown in Bucklebury in Berkshire England, are convinced she's having a girl.

According to US Weekly, the locals "are predicting" Kate's baby no. 2 will be a royal baby girl. The village of Bucklebury, Berkshire in England is reportedly prepped with its celebration of the baby's birth and they are convinced the Duchess of Cambridge will have a girl this time.

Local resident Franca Geppert told the publication that everybody in the village is anticipating the birth of baby no. 2. "There's absolutely an atmosphere in the village about the birth," she said as people are "so excited." "Everybody in the village is convinced it will be a girl for her," she added.

Emma Blackman, owner of the village's Blackbird Café also told US that the whole Bucklebury village is excited over the birth of Kate's second child. Kate is said to be a local visitor to the Bucklebury village in Berkshire, England, considering its where her parents, Carole and Michael, still live. Thus, according to Blackman, the Duchess of Cambridge and her family have been considered part of the village community already and everyone is excited about the Duchess' pregnancy. Like Geppert, Blackman also said everyone in the village "think it will be a girl" for Kate's baby no. 2.

However, if the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's second child comes out as a boy, royal followers shouldn't be disappointed. According to Kate's uncle Gary Goldsmith, the royal couple will not stop at having two children. Mirror UK quoted his statements to The Sun that he thinks the Duchess prefers to have more children in future. Goldsmith seemed very certain that the couple will have a "baby girl in the mix at some point."
