Liverpool FC Transfer News: Outgoing Reds Forward in Barcelona to Finalise Move

Outgoing Liverpool forward Luis Suarez is currently in Barcelona to put a stamp on his pending move to the Catalan giants.

The Merseyside outfit will receive an amount in the region of £71million at the expense of the best player in England last season.
It can be recalled that the former Ajax standout wanted to leave Anfield during the summer of 2013 to join Arsenal since the Reds failed to qualify for the Champions League, but after a second-place finish in the Premier League this term, which gave them a ticket back to Europe's top-tier competition, the 27-year-old still wanted out.

Perhaps, an opportunity to play at Barca is just too good of an offer to pass up.

Basing his career on stats alone, Suarez could be a legend in the making, as his 111 goals and 68 assists in 159 appearances for Ajax, as well as his 82 goals and 53 assists in 133 appearances for Liverpool speak for themselves.

However, his on-pitch antics, which includes three biting incidents and an allegation for being racially abusive, might hinder a great ending to his wonderful career.
