After waiting for more than a month, Emma Watson’s Belle finally found her two leading men for the upcoming live-action “Beauty and the Beast.” To be directed by Bill Condon (“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and Part 2), the remake of the classic Disney movie will star “Downtown Abbey” hunk Dan Stevens as Beast and currently in negotiations to play the villainous Gaston is “Dracula Untold” star Luke Evans.

Emma Watson confirmed her casting as Belle in January when she posted the good news on Facebook. Feeling excited for her new role, the actress who is currently active for her #HeForShe campaign admitted that she felt surreal to be able to dance to “Be Our Guest” and sing “Something There,” two of the movies popular soundtrack.

The upcoming film is a reunion for writer Stephen Chbosky and Watson who directed the actress in “The Perks of Being a Wallflower.” The UN ambassador was first attached to the live-action “Beauty and the Beast” back in 2011 when “Crimson Peak” director Guillermo del Toro was appointed to direct the remake. After four years of planning, Watson is still playing the lead but with different director and studio.

The actress also confirmed Dan Stevens’ involvement to the film when she tweeted the actor casting on Thursday, March 5, as he welcomed the British hunk to the movie. Stevens confirmed the news on Twitter by posting the “Beast Mode” snap as he embarks to a new role with the “Harry Potter” alum.

Stevens is known for his role in the British period drama as Matthew Crawley but the actor wrapped up his role after the show’s third season. The 32-year-old star left the small screen to advance his career in the big screen, he recently starred in “The Guest,” “Night At The Museum” and “A Walk Among The Tombstones.”

Cast as the egotistical antagonist, Gaston, Luke Evans is reportedly joining the cast of the live-action “Beast and the Beast.” The actor is yet to be an official cast although Watson already tweeted about him playing Gaston.

A busy actor in the fantasy realm, Evans was last seen in Peter Jackson’s “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” after playing the villain in “Fast and Furious 6.” The Welsh actor is currently shooting “Message From the King” and is set to begin filming with a starring role in “Free Fire.”
