So it is finally official, Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have gone separate ways. While both parties are seeking out to heal their broken hearts, women are lining up to date the just-recently single, Johnny Depp. However, the best should only be placed forward so here are a few "potential" women perfect for Johnny Depp.

First up is "Bel Ami" star, Christina Ricci. Ricci and Depp have worked on two films together namely "Sleepy Hollow" and "The Man Who Cried". Judging from their onscreen chemistry, it is not hard to picture these two to hit off perfectly off screen. Yet, in an interview on The Jonathan Ross Show, Ricci says it's unlikely to happen. Both stars have been friends when Ricci was still 9 years old and having a relationship now would simply be awkward.

"He knew me as this little kid and then all of a sudden we were doing sex scenes and we were both like, "eugh". Not "eugh," because of him but, "eugh," because it was somebody you knew as a child," explained Ricci during the filming of intimate scenes for the stars' film, "Pan Am".

After starring with Depp in "Edward Scissorhands" and being engaged to him after the film, Wynona Ryder is another actress best set as Depp's partner. Given that these two had such a history, why should they now get back together? In an interview with Elle, its obvious Wynona Ryder is still not over Johnny Depp and the possibility of them getting back together is high.

"I had just done Dracula and Edward Scissorhands. I had just had my first real break-up, the first heartbreak," said Ryder to Elle, adding, "And I think it was really ironic because, like, everybody else just thought I had everything in the world, you know, I had no reason to be depressed, everything was sort of at its peak, but inside I was completely lost".

Third potential partner for Johnny Depp is co-star from "Rum Diary", Amber Heard. After a lot of rumors circulating about the duo's incessant flirting on and off screen, the chances of these two hooking up are enormously high. However, the only problem is Amber Heard who has a better gravitation to be attracted to women than men. Amber is said to be currently dating Tasya Van Reed, an equally good-looking and talented individual.

Depp might be better off partners with co-star, Eva Green from "Dark Shadows". As fans may recall, Eva Green was partly the reason behind the Depp-Paradis split. Rumors stated that Vanessa was jealous of Eva Green and was highly insecure of Green's youth and beauty. Green does hold an uncanny resemblance to Vanessa Paradis which could be the same reason why Depp had chosen her for the role in "Dark Shadows".

The sexy and stunning, Penelope Cruz might have chance with Depp judging from the duo's onscreen chemistry in "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Fountain of Youth". Yet, Cruz is happily married to Javier Bardem and is mothering their first child.

The same thing would probably apply to Helena Bonham Carter and Angelina Jolie. Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp have worked together in countless films. The possibility of the two being potential partners cannot go unseen. Yet, Bonham is married to director, Tim Burton of who has deep ties with the actor, Depp.

If Angelina Jolie wasn't part of the highly-acclaimed "Brangelina" duo and not mothering seven kids, the actress would be the perfect match for Depp. The two had incredible chemistry for the film, "The Tourist" which is enough to convince fans these two are perfect for each other.

With the entire lovely and not to mention young women in Hollywood, Johnny Depp is sure to find an instant replacement for Vanessa Paradis. As for now, Depp should heal all wounds and try to be the best father possible for his two kids. The dating game can wait.
