Lindsay Lohan is sentenced to jail. Again.

US actress Lindsay Lohan has been sentenced to 30 days in the slammer following her confession on violating her probation on previous legal issues. However, legal sources have suggested that the 25-year old singer actress could be released at an earlier date, quite possibly not even be jailed at all, much like her previous jailing terms.

Lindsay admitted to violating yet another probation (itself punishment for other probation violations, two DUIs, and a shoplifting charge) by skipping therapy sessions and getting kicked out of a community service program. Judge Sautner sentenced Lindsay to 30 days in jail, of which she will likely serve six.

Judge Sautner also restructured Lindsay's probation to make it harder for her to shirk. This is considered a win for Lindsay, because she could have been sentenced to multiple months in the slammer; TMZ says they heard the chronic criminal muttering 'Thank God' as she sauntered out of court," reported Gawker.

The "Mean Girls" star recently took headlines once again after receiving reports that she will pose for Playboy. The men's magazine was said to offer $1 million for the spread.

The Hollywood Gossip reports that by bailing this agreement with Playboy, she will have to breach the contract wherein she will charge head first into more legal trouble.

"So Judge Sautner cut her a break, giving her one week to surrender and begin her 30-day jail sentence. In the meantime, she'll be giving Playboy the vadge [sic] of courage," continues Hollywood Gossip.

Although she started modeling for different brands at the age of three, she got her big break with the remake of "Parent Trap" alongside Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson. She then got bigger roles such as "Freaky Friday" and "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen," but nothing could have prepared her for her biggest movie to date, "Mean Girls" alongside Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried.

Though many are not shocked by the said sentencing, more people are looking at the juicy couture ensemble LiLo wore at the proceeding. Gawker and Sodahead.com have both appreciated the polka dotted dress she wore with the red Chanel bag that came with it.

"Polka dots and a red Chanel bag? How could they possibly send her to jail in that darling outfit?" joked Sodahead.com regarding the emsemble.
