As per recent updates, Lindsay Lohan along with her family is in trouble as their ex-business associate has slammed them for stealing the idea of their fashion e-commerce app. The star and her brother Michael Jr. has been sued for $60 million and hit with a court order to stop the work on their new venture.

The lawsuit is filed by Fima Potik, who is claiming that Lohan along with her brother stole his trade secrets from his online shopping company named Spotted Friend. In the proceeding of the case, Manhattan Supreme Court Judge has put a restraining order, which bars the brother-sister duo to promote, launch or even market their app.

Lindsay and her brother have been working together on their new app that will work like a virtual closet. Called by the name Vigme, the app will allow the users to view each other's and even celebrities' wardrobe items virtually and will help in making purchasing decisions.

As per exclusive reports from Fox News, the Lohans have met Potik in 2013 through Michael's roommate and soon became equity members of Spotted Friend. After some time, Potik allegedly handed over the beta version of the app and other marketing materials. The trio has even marketed their idea with investors, as per claims made by Daily Mail.

About a month later, Potik discovered coincidentally that the Lohans are launching the similar app, which is alleged a copy of Spotted Friend. In retaliation, Potik hired famous high profile lawyers Kenneth David and Marc Kasowitz to sue the Lohans.

In the lawsuit, Potik is claiming that the Lohans new virtual closet app is his idea and is suing them for $60 million along with charges of breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and loyalty, and unfair competition. He also claimed that he received a text message from Michael to increase their ownership. On his refusal, the brother-sister duo decided to divest themselves from the company.

On the other hand, the Lohans lawyer, Ravi Batra, is still hopeful and claims that the court restraining order is only till their client also files the papers. Also, according to him, Potik is a plagiariser who has fraudulently induced Lindsay and her brother in this pact that he would produce a product recognizing app by June 2013 but it is still not ready, told by the Daily Mail.
