Michael Lohan, “Mean Girls” actress Lindsay Lohan’s father, has revealed that his daughter was indeed pregnant.

"I have no reason not to believe her. She is my daughter. She hasn’t lied to me,” Michael told Inside Edition. “She hasn’t misled me. I go on what she tells me." The 56-year-old father added that the family “will be there” for her daughter.

Lindsay posted a tweet which implied that she was going through “labour pains.” She has mentioned her pregnancy in an Instagram comment. However, the 30-year-old actress deleted both posts.

Michael also talked about how he felt towards son-in-law Egor Tarabasov. He called his daughter’s fiancé a “coward” and wrote him life-threatening messages upon discovering violence in their relationship. Michael sent them upon watching the video of the couple engaging in an aggressive dispute where Egor strangled Lindsay. Lindsay posted a video of the aftermath, saying that her fiancé almost killed her.

“It is hard seeing her cry like that and alone and not have anyone there for her, being defenseless with him,” the angered father said. “After seeing it, it is not a good situation and I don’t trust this guy one bit.”

“He is going to stay away from my daughter until he gets better. I feel bad for him but this kind of behavior is not going to happen,” Michael added. “If she is pregnant, she needs the father to be there and support her and go through this with her.” He believed that Egor was mentally unstable and that he should seek professional help. “His is not in the right frame of mind and he can’t do that.”

According to Perez Hilton, Egor was reported to be moving out of Lindsay’s home. It was believed that Michael's messages had something to do with the Russian businessman's departure.
