Limitless’, starring hunk actir Bradley Cooper has topped the weekend North American box-office after raking in $19million beating other films including last weekend’s No.1, 'Battle: Los Angeles'.

According to Hollywood Reporter, ranking No. 2 for the weekend opening is ‘Rango’, grossing an estimated $15.3 million for its third weekend. It fell said for about 32% less than its previous sales, ending the week with $92.6 million.

Placing No.3 is Sony’s ‘Battle: Los Angeles’ collecting only an estimated $14.6 million over the weekend. The film recorded a 58%- decrease of its previous sales, grossing an estimated $60.6 million since its opening two weeks ago.

The Hollywood Reporter noted that the new films have failed to edge their way to the box-opening this week.

Lionsgate legal thriller, ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ placed No. 4 at the box-office over the weekend after raking in $13.4 million in its opening week.

Coming close to the legal thriller, starring Matthew McConaughey is Universal’s sci-fi action called 'Paul' grossing $13.2 million in its opening over the weekend.

The Hollywood Reporter also said that the three new films have surprisingly captured the older audience over the weekend.

The audience for Lionsgate’s Lincoln 'Lawyer' comprises 85% of the patrons aged over 25 years-old while Universal’s sci-fi pic, 'Paul' had 58% of audience 25 years and above. The top grosser over the weekend, 'Limitless', as also attracted 60% of its audience aged over 25.
