Currently, the only tablet running on the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS is Google Nexus 9. The tablet, which has been manufactured by Taiwan-based HTC Corp., comes pre-loaded with the newest Android OS version. Amazon U.S. is currently offering the Wi-Fi only Google Nexus 9 edition with 16 GB internal storage with a price cut of $50.

PhoneArena claims that it is an offer that could only last for a limited time. The offer is on the black coloured version of Google Nexus 9 and with the price cut, it can be availed for U.S. $350. PhoneArena highlights that the stocks could run out soon and since Amazon is offering the tablet with free shipping, the deal allows the user to take advantage of up to 13 percent savings.

The Google Nexus 9 tablet comes with an 8.9-inch display screen that supports a display resolution of 1,536 x 2,048 pixels and 281 ppi. The device is powered up by Tegra K1 chipset from Nvidia. It consists of a dual-core Denver processor that offers a clocking speed of 2.3 GHz along with Kepler DX1. It is complemented with 2 GB of RAM.

The front side of the Google Nexus 9 features a 1.6 MP camera whereas the main camera present on the backside of the device is of 8 MP. The tablet is packed with a massive 6,700 mAh battery.

There is no external memory card slot on the HTC Nexus 9. Also, it comes in two internal storage options, namely 16 GB and 32 GB. The 16 GB Wi-Fi edition is priced at $399 whereas the 32 GB Wi-Fi version is available for $479 on Google Play Store. Both the versions are available in two colour options, namely black and white.

The third variant of the Nexus 9 is the 32 GB LTE edition which is not available for purchase. According to our previous report, Google Play Store says it will be 'coming soon.' The LTE edition has already received approval from FCC which indicates the release may happen very soon.
