“Game of Thrones” has gotten away with a lot of taboo issues in the show since all of them are fictional. However, the HBO show apparently tried to feature real incest when it asked Lily Allen to guest star on the show alongside her brother Alfie Allen, who plays Theon Greyjoy.

Lily revealed that the producers asked her to do a cameo on the show alongside her younger brother, but when she found out what the role entailed, she passed up, understandably.

“But I’ve been asked to do a Game of Thrones cameo, they asked me if I’d be interested in playing Theon’s sister, and I felt uncomfortable because I would have had to go on a horse and he would have touched me up and s***,” she told a fan on Reddit’s Ask Me Anything (AMA) feature.

“Once they told me what was entailed, I said no thanks. I would be open to doing a musical cameo like Sigur Ros, though.”

Lily was referring to the role of Yara Greyjoy (named Asha in the “A Song of Ice and Fire” novels), the older sister of Theon. Yara is now played by Gemma Whelan.

In the said scene aired in the second season, Yara, posing as a commoner, let Theon grope her while they were riding a horse. Theon, in his defence, wasn’t aware at that time that he was her sister.

Apart from the questionable groping of a sister by a brother, there wasn’t anything else untoward that happened between Theon and Yara.

The scene, though still highly inappropriate, was mild compared to the relationship between twin siblings Cersei and Jaime Lannister, who even produced three children together.

In a separate interview in April, Lily, 29, said that she now struggles to watch the hit fantasy series because of her brother.

“I love the show and I’m so proud of him but I can’t bear the thought of my brother without a penis,” she was quoted by WENN as saying.

Theon was castrated in season three when he was captured and held as prisoner by Ramsay Snow (Iwan Rheon).
