The Liam Hemsworth-Miley Cyrus relationship has already ended but the drama continues to surround the two. An exclusive Hollywood Life report recently revealed that the Aussie actor's family is "thrilled" with Liam's break-up with the former Disney star and their engagement to be called off.

"This is the happiest they've seen Liam in a long time and they are supporting the break up," the unnamed source exclusively divulged to HollywoodLife.com. Liam's family stands by his side and shows unwavering support for the "Hunger Games" actor while going through his publicized split with Miley Cyrus.

It looks like the 23-year-old Australian actor is really happy with his new single life after photographers spotted him out and all smiles on Monday afternoon, September 30, in New York City. Mr Hemsworth was casually wearing a blue and grey striped T-shirt, jeans and a New York Yankees cap while running errands and shopping during a break from filming "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire."

The Aussie star appears to be in a good mood to the point of giving a thumbs-up sign to the photographers amid circulating reports about his split with Miley, her controversial album "Bangerz" and pregnancy rumours. The Hollywood Life report reads: "After Miley allegedly made a shocking announcement at the BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta on September 29 that she's expecting a baby with rapper Juicy J, Liam was spotted smiling in NYC. This might have been why Liam was looking happy and calm on September 30."

The latest pregnancy report on Miley adds up to the previous one with Liam which allegedly kept their relationship from ending. "Miley thought she was expecting and wanted to announce it to the world, even before she went to the doctor to verify the results. Liam begged her not to go public yet," an anonymous insider revealed to OK! Magazine.

Now, Liam Hemsworth is enjoying his single life after having a great time at the NYC hotspot Ainsowrth Park on Sunday, September 29, while drinking and mingling with girls. "Liam was flirting with two girls the entire time. He was having a great time, laughing, drinking, he looks happier than ever. It's clear he's totally loving being single," an eyewitness shared to Hollywood Life.
