After months of speculation, the “Hunger Games” actor Liam Hemsworth finally sets things straight about his relationship with Miley Cyrus.

Earlier this year, the two had been spotted celebrating New Year’s Eve together. The 23-year-old “Wrecking Ball” singer also uploaded a selfie in her personal Instagram account while wearing a green polka dot outfit with matching hat and a pink coat. While she poked fun of herself and what she’s wearing, what’s more noticeable is the diamond ring that she flaunted. Those who saw the photo observe that the ring looks very similar to the one Cyrus received in 2012 from the Australian actor.

Responding to reports that have been circulating about their supposed to be engagement, Hemsworth has flat out denied the news. In an interview with TV Week Australia, the 26-year-old actor set the records straight. “I am not engaged, no,” the 26-year-old actor said.

What he hinted, in an interview in the June/July 2016 issue of GQ Australia magazine, is that they are back together. “People will figure it out, they already have,” Hemsworth said. “They’re not dumb.”

He also said that when he feels something, he just feels it and goes for it. “I make my decisions about what’s going to make me happy, what I think is right and what I want to do — and I don’t worry too much outside of that,” he also told the magazine.

In his interview, Hemsworth also talked about his upcoming film, “Independence Day: Resurgence,” which will hit theatres on June 23. He says in his role as Jake Morrison, he has become more mature.

Hemsworth’s full interview will be seen in the June/July issue of GQ Australia, which will be out on June 6.
