LG’s latest model of the G Pad tablet series will debut at the IFA trade show in Berlin. The newest version will bring quite a few performance improvements over its predecessor.

LG officially announced the new Android based G Pad II 10.1 tablet through a press release . The tablet will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and post launch both LTE and Wi-Fi versions will be available in North America, Europe and Asia.

With its newest tablet, the tech giant claimed to offer more features than other devices in the similar segment. The 10.1-inch display will feature a slim and sleek design with the slimmest bezel currently available in the market. The WUXGA display of LG G Pad II 10.1 will enhance the experience of multimedia content. It will be powered by 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and a massive 7400 mAh battery.

The all-new Reader Mode now offers a more comfortable e-book reading experience as by reducing the blue light of the display backlight and lessening eye fatigue effects. The G Pad II 10.1 will come pre-loaded with Microsoft Office. An additional 100GB of free OneDrive storage will accompany the Android tablet for two years.

There are exciting new features for the multitaskers as well. Dual Window allows users to launch and run two applications. Furthermore, the QuickMemo+ enables users to instantaneously create, save and share memos from any screen, without having to open a separate application.

“Customers asked for a large display, bigger battery and faster performance all without raising the price. The G Pad II delivers on all counts,” said Chris Yie, vice president and head of marketing communications for LG Mobile Communications Company in the press note.

LG said that the details of price and availability will be announced at the launch event to be held in Hall 18 of Messe, Berlin from Sep. 4 to 9. IFA is one of the world's biggest consumer electronics trade shows in which many of elites from tech world including Apple, Samsung, Huawei and many others will be participating, reports CNET .
