LG G6 leaks have become commonplace as more and more details are hitting the Internet every now and then. The smartphone officially launches at the Mobile World Congress 2017. The latest leaks have shown a rear camera setup, a fingerprint scanner and a 5.7-inch always-on display. MWC 2017 will see the launch of various smartphones and Samsung is also expected to showcase its flagships, Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, to a select few partners and press. It is also expected to announce the launch date of the smartphones.

9To5Google received the newly leaked images from an anonymous source, and one of the images shows the front side of the LG G6 handset. It has also been revealed that the upcoming handset will have QHD+ FullVision display with rounded corners, 18:9 aspect ratio and screen resolution of 1,440 x 2,880 pixels. The always-on display indicates the notifications, battery level, date and time. The second leaked image shows the smartphone’s rear portion and the metallic silver case.

The fingerprint scanner is situated right below the camera and the LG G6 branding lies below it. The smartphone comes with a dual-camera setup. It will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and will ship with Android 7.1.1 Nougat update out-of-the-box. To top it off, it will run an updated version of LG's Android skin, LG UX 6.0 interface. Apart from these, the flagship is expected to have 32GB internal storage, 4GB RAM, 3,200 mAh non-removable battery and microSD card slot for memory expansion.

According to Value Walk, the LG G6 is being compared a lot with the Nokia P1 handset, that is expected to be available from March 20. It will feature 5.3-inch full HD Sharp IGZO 120Hz display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, 22.6MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, Carl Zeiss optics and 4K video recording. The LG smartphone will have a dual 16MP camera with laser autofocus, OIS and LED flash snapper. Nokia P1 could have a 6GB RAM and 256GB of expandable memory via microSD card.

Unlike the LG G6 smartphone, the Nokia P1 handset could come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and Adreno 540 GPU. A 3,500 mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 will also be incorporated, it is believed. It will be really interesting to see how these two clashes against each other.
