The LG G5 has been officially unveiled to the world. One of its major competitors is the Apple iPhone 6S, but LG has managed to release the G5 with some great features that are not available on the iPhone 6S.

Modular Design

The LG G5 comes with a modular design that offers enhanced user experience by connecting various kinds of modules for camera, battery, DAC for audio, VR headset and more. The Apple iPhone 6S has no support for connecting modules.

Larger And Higher Resolution Display

The LG G5 is packed with a 5.3-inch IPS LCD display that supports Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and delivers a pixel density of 554 ppi. It comes with an Always-On Display feature that shows notifications without affecting the battery life. It also offers a screen-to-body ratio of 70.1 percent.

The Apple iPhone 6S comes with a smaller IPS LCD display of 4.7-inch. It offers a pixel count of 326 ppi and a screen-to-body ratio of 65.6 percent. The 3D Touch pressure sensitive display feature of the iPhone 6S is not available on the LG G5.

Expandable Storage

The iPhone 6S comes in multiple storage options such as 16 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB but lacks an expandable storage feature. On the other hand, the LG G5 is available with an inbuilt storage of 32 GB and supports up to 200 GB of microSD on its additional storage.

Dual-Camera Setup

The 16-megapixel and 8 megapixel lenses that belong to the dual-camera setup of LG G5 is enabled with features like laser autofocus, OIS and LED flash. It also features an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. The iPhone 6S has a 12-megapixel shooter on its rear, and its front-facing camera is of 5-megapixel.

Larger, Removable Battery

The LG G5 comes with a large-sized removable battery of 2800 mAh. On the other side, the iPhone 6S is packed with a smaller battery of 1715 mAh.

Cheaper Price

The Apple iPhone 6S with 16 GB storage is priced at $649. However, the LG G5 is expected to be priced at $599, Phone Arena reported.
