The upcoming LG G3 will be launched by the end of this month, May 27 to be specific. The launch event is scheduled in New York, San Francisco and London, among others. The power-packed device from LG is being positioned as the direct competitor to flagship devices from Samsung, Sony and HTC.

What is New?

According to the credible tipster @evleaks (via BGR), the freshly leaked images give a better look of the handset. The new sensor on the left side of the main camera is a laser auto focus sensor and not a fingerprint scanner.

LG Mobile India reported that the LG G3 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and not the rumored and much powerful Snapdragon 805 CPU. The report further said that the upcoming device will sport a metal case and not the metal-looking plastic case as reported earlier.

Specifications Overview

The LG G3 will come with a 5.5 inches IPS LCD display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixels screen resolution.
