LG G2, LG' "most advanced smartphone yet" suffered backlash and tirades from Blackberry users due to a tasteless advertisement against Blackberry posted on LG's Facebook page.

"Write a eulogy for your BlackBerry on your new LG G2's beautiful 5.2 full 1080HD display."

LG G2's ad became all the more less of a professional character expected from a technological giant company as Blackberry impressed people for its recent announcement that it will amass 40 per cent of its worldwide workforce even with the challenging market revenue the company is facing.

Blackberry also made a humble gesture as it signed an agreement of takeover bid by investment tycoon Prem Watsa.

And most importantly, Blackberry created an impressive image as it announced and assured customers that despite all the difficulties the company is facing, the company is working hard to maintain its ongoing viability.

Consequently, LG G2 suffered counter-backlash from Facebook users and Blackberry loyal users for its proud ad against writing a eulogy for Blackberry.

"I own an LG Optimus G Pro and while I like the phone, this ad by LG is childish. I've owned a Curve and Both models of the Torch and all of my devices were solid performers! After seeing this ad, I may very well switch back to BlackBerry and pick up a new Z30," posted one Blackberry user.

"Sell your equipment. Don't take shots at other companies. Why would someone with a BlackBerry want an LG?" one commenter said.

"A eulogy would take forever to write using a virtual keyboard. Thanks, but I'll stick with my 9900," posted another Blackberry user.

What made the backlash worse was that Blackberry users were not blinded by the fact that LG's devices are almost copy cat of Samsung products.

"Give me one benefit that LG had over BlackBerry. At least BlackBerry phones have many unique advantages that no other company can claim. LG is just a Samsung copycat," one angry user said.

"Listen up u *$@#& wannabe Galaxy 4 wannabe, don't ever compare urself to BB, ain't no one talking about LG, and even if blackberry doesn't make a comeback, LG is still a crappy phone, #blackberryForLife," one mad commenter posted.
