It seems that LG Electronics Inc. has resumed the manufacturing of LG G Pro series in the favor of large screen users. Last year it was speculated that LG may stop the series to concentrate on their flagship of this year with all new LG G4. Now rumours have begun that new G Pro 3, a premium model with high-end specs is likely to be on board by the end of 2015.

It is been speculated that LG G Pro 3 will be equipped with a 6-inch screen carrying a 1440 x 2560 resolution. It will be powered by the latest Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset. It may also feature a 4GB of RAM, 32GB of native storage which can be expanded via microSD cards.

The latest phablet is supposed to run on Android 5.1 Lollipop unlike its predecessor Pro 2 which runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat. The LG G Pro 3 may also sport a 20.7 megapixel rear camera. Users will be happy to use the 8 megapixel front shooter for selfies. Apparently it will also house both fingerprint scanner and pupil recognition technology as reported by Phone Arena and Mobipicker. The pupil recognition is another biometric authentication feature which will allow the smartphone to scan the owners’ retina and let the user unlock the device just with a glance. LG G Pro 3 is expected by later this year for $790 (AU$1,054).

Further on G4 series, according to the reports on GSM Arena, LG G4 S will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset with octa-core CPU and Adreno 405 GPU as revealed by the GFXBench benchmark entry. It is also been speculated the device will include a 5.2” 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable memory, 8MP main camera, and 5MP front-facing unit.
