LG's upcoming smartphone G Flex 2 has reportedly been spotted prior to the official announcement at the CES 2015 event. Apparently, a poster of the curved handset was allegedly seen on the CES show floor. Plus, the upcoming flagship device LG G4 has recently visited the Geekbench benchmark testing site, revealing key specifications.

If reports are true, the G Flex successor LG G Flex 2 will maintain the same design seen in the original device. But then, the new device will come equipped with better specifications than the 2013 model. Also, Qualcomm recently teased the upcoming LG G Flex 2 stating that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor, notes GSM Arena.

Notably, the much-awaited CES 2015 event will commence on Jan. 6 and will end on Jan. 9 in Las Vegas, Nevada. During the CES event, all the OEMs will be showcasing their upcoming handsets to the world. Earlier reports pointed out that, the G Flex 2 will come with a physical button on the rear panel. In addition, the upcoming smartphone will feature a flexible display and a self-healing back cover, says Phone Arena. In comparison, the original LG G Flex features a 6.0-inch display and the new device is expected to be a tad smaller, when compared to the predecessor. In the meantime, Android Authority points out that, the upcoming LG G Flex 2 will come with an OLED display and a full HD screen resolution.

On the other hand, a brand new LG handset with model number LG-F510L has made a visit to Geekbench benchmark testing site recently. The upcoming model will reportedly be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC. Specifically, this hardware bundle will utilise Cortex-A57 and Cortex-A53 CPUs that uses big.LITTLE architecture. Plus, Adreno 430 will reportedly govern the graphics department of the device. Phone Arena opines that the LG-F510L could be the flagship smartphone G4. Apparently, this device will run on Android v5.0.1 OS out of the box. According to earlier reports, the Snapdragon 810-clad LG G4 release date is pegged for March at the MWC event.

It is worth mentioning that, the Snapdragon 810 SoC is reported to be 50 percent more powerful than the 2013's Snapdragon 805, says the same site. To top it off, the Adreno 430 GPU is believed to be 30 percent faster than its predecessor Adreno 420. Interested readers can check out the LG G Flex 2 image from GSM Arena.
