"Today" anchor Jenna Wolfe and her partner, NBC News foreign correspondent, Stephanie Gosk, welcomed an adorable baby girl on Wednesday. The couple, who is not married, announced the birth of their first child named Harper Estelle Wolfeld Gosk, on Twitter.

The baby girl arrived at 7:31 p.m. weighing 7 pounds, 13 ounces. "We couldn't be happier. Thanks for all the great messages," Gosk, 40, tweeted.

"Fell madly in love w Harper Estelle tonight," Wolfe, 39, said on twitter adding "Thx for the kind words and well wishes. Other than that I'm speechless."

The child was conceived by Jenna after undergoing artificial insemination with an anonymous donor and the expectant mother kept the readers glued to her "Today" show blog throughout her pregnancy.

Jenna announced her pregnancy on-air in March, and called the experience "surreal" in a her blog post. The couple announced the pregnancy news on the same day (March 27) they came out as a couple.

"Stephanie's extremely adventurous, she's been all over the world. And you know me -- there's not a building I haven't jumped off of ... so, for us, this is nothing like that. This is the adventure of a lifetime."

The new mommies who called their little one "their biggest adventure" and were fully prepared for the change that the baby will bring to their lives.

"Do I like 3 a.m. feedings and round-the-clock diaper changes and public temper tantrums, smelly poops, projectile spit-ups and sleepless nights? Of course not, but if every other mother in the world (including mine) did it, I can too," the would-be-mommy wrote then.

Jenna Wolfe has been an active blogger and sought parenting advice from the readers. Last month the then would-be mommy posted a beautiful picture of the couple on the beach and wrote "So to celebrate the nothingness that is a month to go, Steph and I took a last little weekend getaway to the Hamptons to relax."

Now that the baby has arrived we are not sure if the couple will have leisure time at hand. Here is wishing the baby and the new mommies all the best from our side.
