The runner up for the just-recently wrapped reality show, "The Biggest Loser Families" was rushed to the hospital after splitting his head at the post-finale party.

The incident happened when Leigh Westren was about to call it a night and fell down a flight of stairs as he was leaving the party. The show’s runner-up was reportedly drinking with friends before the unfortunate fall. He was rushed to a Sydney hospital where he received stitches for the cut, according to News.com.au.

Leigh is a sales representative and has been described by “The Biggest Loser” official website as a ‘fanatical DJ’ having had great passion for the decks. He is believed to have foregone the interest for lack of confidence to be on stage due to his weight.

The 23-year-old runner-up from Central Coast, Australia weighed in 130.1 kg at the start of the season but lost 2-kilos shy from “The Biggest Loser” winner, Emma Duncan for tipping the scale on the show’s finale at 60 kilograms weight loss throughout the season.

Leigh declared at the beginning of the show that his participation at the weight loss competition is motivated by his desires to marry his girlfriend, Lara.
