LeBron James ‘Coming Home’ Letter Gets Morgan Freeman Treatment Plus More Frank Caliendo’s Impressions [VIDEO]

LeBron James announced his decision to play with the Cleveland Cavaliers via a “letter” published earlier in July. It was an emotional, honest and down-to-earth letter that captured the attention of NBA fans—supporters and haters alike—in what was the highlight of the 2014 offseason.

It’s only apt that a popular American comedian and impressionist, Frank Caliendo delivered it with a twist—via Morgan Freeman’s voice:

“Before anyone ever cared where I would play basketball, I was a kid from Northeast Ohio. It’s where I walked. It’s where I ran. It’s where I cried. It’s where I bled. It holds a special place in my heart. People there have seen me grow up. I sometimes feel like I’m their son. Their passion can be overwhelming. But it drives me. I want to give them hope when I can. I want to inspire them when I can. My relationship with Northeast Ohio is bigger than basketball. I didn’t realize that four years ago. I do now.”

From start to finish, Caliendo’s delivery was, uh, very Morgan Freeman.

Caliendo’s career includes appearances in the television show MADtv and his own show Frank TV.
