As Capcom promised, “Street Fighter V” will have three newcomers joining the roster of the much-anticipated fighting game. Although the new character is yet to be officially revealed by Capcom, the details were leaked through Japanese gaming website Famitsu.

Joining Necalli and Rashid as the new faces in the “Street Fighter” series is Laura, a fighter of Brazilian descent. Laura was revealed accidentally through a series of Famitsu screenshots, which were intended to showcase Zangief, Kotaku Australia reports. Since then, Famitsu has taken down Laura’s screenshots a few hours after revealing her.

The screens showcased Laura in a battle against “Street Fighter” veteran, Ryu. Judging by her origins and apparent move set, Laura could be using Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a main fighting style during combat. This means that Laura might be a character that specialises in grabs like King from the “Tekken” series.

Rumours have circulated that Laura is the second Brazilian character to be introduced in the game. In August, the game’s producer Yoshinori Ono teased that there will be two Brazilian characters coming to the title, VG247 reports. Along with the announcement of the two characters, Oni revealed that the fighters in the game will travel to Brazil, as it is the setting of one of the stages.

Since the recently leaked fighter Laura is of Brazilian descent, the other character Ono could be pertaining to may be the series favourite, Blanka. Just recently, a Blanka action figure was seen in a supposed character teaser released by Ono. Both characters could be revealed at the upcoming Brazil Game Show, which runs from Oct. 8 to Oct 12.

If indeed Laura will be part of the game, the total roster count of “Street Fighter V”will be 14, but that number is still expected to increase before the launch date. The next instalment in the “Street Fighter” series launches in spring 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
