Leaked Sony Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact Could be Launched in IFA Berlin Scheduled for September 2014 - Reports

Freshly leaked images showcase the upcoming Sony Xperia Z3 and a mini version of Z3 i.e. Xperia Z3 Compact/Mini handsets side-by-side. Apparently, the Sony Xperia Z3 features the same form factor present in Xperia series of devices, which is internally referred as OmniBalance. Nevertheless, the leaked images did not give out much information on the software or hardware specifications.

The Sony Xperia Z3 is shown in white shade, whereas the mini version Xperia Z3 Compact flaunts a black back cover in the leaked images. According to Slash Gear, the Mini/Compact device seen in the leaked images could also be Sony's other famous line of handsets, the Ultra series of phones.

If the reports were true, the Sony Xperia Z3 will be powered by a Snapdragon 801 or 805 processor and a solid 3 GB of RAM. In addition, it is being speculated that the upcoming Xperia Z3 will feature 20.7 MP or higher shooter as the primary camera unit. Even though there is no official confirmation on the Sony Xperia Z3 release date, IFA scheduled in Berlin between September 5 and 10 could be the time frame of the launch.

It is worth noting that, the Sony Xperia Z2 was launched only in February of this year, while the predecessor Xperia Z1 was launched in September 2013. Therefore, Sony could be sticking to the routine of launching its devices once every 6 months. Hence, it is safe to say that we could see new Sony devices in IFA this year. However, the handsets would either be Xperia Z series of phones or Z Ultra series of phones from Sony.

When it comes to stand-out features, the current favorite Xperia Z2 handset is known for its 4K video recording capability along with killer camera specifications. The Xperia Z2 features the Sony TV display technology customized for mobile and hence the viewing experience is phenomenal. In addition, the handset flaunts Live Colour LED; this technology is used to provide enriched colours by working on the depth and gradation.

It is worth mentioning that, the high-resolution Full HD Triluminos display with X-Reality for mobile picture engine helps in getting razor-sharp and crystal clear pictures. With such in-depth technologies in place, one can only expect the upcoming Sony Xperia Z3 to outdo the already surreal display technology from Sony.
