“Law and Order: SVU” undeniably has a huge fan base that has proven its loyalty through the show’s more than 17 years on air. One of them recently tattooed a proof on his back. Surprisingly, it is not a face or a name of one of the actors.

Bernard Johnson recently tweeted a photo of his tattoo which says, "Executive Producer Dick Wolf." The image immediately went viral. For this, he received a special shoutout on Twitter not from the series creator but from “Law and Order: SVU” lead star Mariska Hargitay.

Johnson is a self-confessed “Law and Order: SVU” addict. He said he watches the show every day, having learned to love it since he was a child. Johnson shared that although the series features crimes and abuses, he still became a huge fan because of the characters and how the storyline empowers women.

He then revealed why he chose Wolf instead of Lt. Olivia Benson (Hargitay), Det. Fin Tutuola (Ice-T) or even Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish). He picked the man behind the series because of his tattoo artist and his love of tramp stamps.

"We were talking about Law & Order and Mariska Hargitay and everything, and I was like, man, 'I would love to get a Law & Order tramp stamp.' And then he thought of the executive producer thing, and I was like, 'That is so perfect. I want that right now.' And the rest is history," he told Jezebel.

It should be noted that for Wolf, “Law and Order” are synonyms. He serves as EP not only of the franchise but also of other series such as “Chicago PD,” “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago Med” and “Chicago Justice.”

Meanwhile, Johnson’s love for the show doesn’t stop there. He is set to unveil another tattoo soon. This time, it will be the face of Hargitay. Johnson revealed that he is now working on a massive portrait of the actress on his back.

"The day I meet Mariska Hargitay is the day I can just die peacefully," he admitted. "She's my favourite character, she's my favourite everything. I live for her… Mariska Hargitay reminds me a lot of my mother, [whom] I lost when I was 19. I just get it. I love Mariska so much."

“Law and Order: SVU” season 18 airs every Wednesday at 9 p.m. EST/8 p.m. CST on NBC in the US. In Australia, it airs on Network Ten.
