Lady GaGa Receives Accidental Head Thump At Final New Zealand Performance

Singer Lady GaGa's latest hit came.

However, it is not a song. It was the form of a metal pole wielded by one of her back-up dancers during her last show in New Zealand. It reportedly gave the superstar a suspected concussion.

The pop singer was performing her hit single "Judas" at the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand when she received the accidental thump at the top of her head.

Sporting yellow hair, a white dress and holding a machine gun, Gaga could be seen in a video footage staggering for a moment after being hit. In a way of professionalism, the superstar singer quickly pulled herself together and continued performing. The clip of the incident can be viewed on "YouTube."

"I want to apologize. I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion. But don't you worry, I will finish this show," Lady GaGa told her fans at the concert according to a TMZ.com report.

GaGa, who has over 25 million "Twitter" fans known as her "little monsters," praised New Zealand in a message that she posted on her account.

"I'm having a blast in New Zealand! The last couple shows have felt like festivals. Just so free, wild, happy. What music is all about," GaGa wrote.

After performing three shows in New Zealand, Lady GaGa is now heading to Australia. The 5-time Grammy Award winner will tour Australia this June. She is the latest in a star-studded field of entertainers scheduled to be heading Down Under.

GaGa's "Born This Way Ball" will rock the Rod Laver Arena on June 27 and 28. Lady GaGa describes the tour as an electro-metal pop-opera. "How we were birthed and how we will die celebrating," the singer shared.

"Born This Way" has sold six million copies since its release. Meanwhile, GaGa's debut album, "The Fame Monster" has sold 15 million copies and she has also sold 65 million singles.
