It would be hard to imagine Lady Gaga tying the knot with someone. But a close friend to the singer revealed that Gaga is getting ready to marry her boyfriend Taylor Kinney come summer.

Lady Gaga has kept her relationship with boyfriend Taylor Kinney away from the spotlight. Although she was very public about herself and her career, she maintained tight lipped when it comes to her love life. Now, a close friend to Gaga said that the singer and her boyfriend are thinking about taking their relationship to the next level.

According to DJ Starlight, a close friend to Lady Gaga, things between the singer and her boyfriend has become serious and now they are considering about sealing the deal.

"She's told me he's the one and you know that instantly when you see them together. They were made for each other. At first I thought he was too hot to be cool but now I think he's totally awesome. From all I've heard, I don't think I'm dropping a secret by saying they are ready to get hitched this year," the DJ said in an interview with The Sun.

"There's a summer period when his shooting schedule will be clear and her concert and studio commitments will be minimal, so expect an announcement some time soon," she added.

Gaga's close friend also revealed some tidbits about the singer's relationship with her "Vampire Diaries" boyfriend. Starlight said that Gaga would fly to Chicago whenever her schedule allows so she is able to spend time with Taylor.

The two have been together since 2011. Gaga famously handpicked the hunky star to join her in the music video "You and I."

As of the moment, Lady Gaga and Taylor are living together in Chicago. The singer is suffering from hip injury and is forced to cancel all of her tour dates in the coming "Born This Way Tour."

"Monsters, you really gave me a lot of strength today. Everything happened so fast, but when it came time to face it I reflected on the many stories and experiences you've shared with me about your lives. You have changed my life. I love you and am proud to be a part of your lives. If you can do it, I can do it too, and if we stick together we can get through anything. Love, Gaga," said the letter she wrote to her fans.
